How do I keep this short and to the point. Kylee was admitted at 10:45 am today. By 3:45 pm they still hadn't done anything with her no IV no PICC nothing not even a meal tray that they promised back at 12:00 pm. Anyway I finally went to talk to the nurse manager of the unit. We were getting no where asking nurses questions. She got the doctor back in the room and by 5:00 pm they finally came up with a a plan to have Kylee go to the OR tomorrow to have her PICC line placed with sedation. Wow what a thought....... exactly what we asked for on Monday. We told them repeatedly that this is her 9th PICC line and we know what works and what doesn't. I requested to let Kylee come home for the night and sleep in her own bed but the doctor wanted her to stay.
Kylee was fine staying as long as she gets her sedation tomorrow. On a happy note Willamette Christian Church called Larry and provided enough food for quite a few meals for the next few days. What a blessing.
Hopefully tomorrows BLOG entry will be a nice short :"Everything went terrific"

Good morning, Kylee!
I hope that you are home today and starting to feel better - even with that old PICC line in!
We are up and at it again this morning, trying to get all that we can done here before we head home again. The weather is cooling a little, so that will make the driving easier on the way home!
