PEG day

The OR's were backed up today so she didn't go back for surgery until 3.  She got back to her room around 5.  She was in a lot of pain and nauseated.  The tube is quite a bit larger than we expected.  They gave her medication to help with the above and she went to sleep.  THe plan is to start using the tube in the morning to see if she tolerates the feedings.  If she does than she can come home tomorrow afternoon. While they were doing the procedure they also noted ulcers and that her small bowel is greatly inflamed.  They want her to start steroids again. We want to wait a while.
