Button Placement completed

I AM HOME!!!!  The button is placed, and everything went smoothly.  I arrived there at 6, and I had a very nice nurse named Lori who got my i.v. in without me feeling a thing.  Then the anesthesiologist came and talked with me and I asked for General anesthesia so that I was completely out, and he said he would do it as long as I was ok with maybe having a sore throat because he would have to put in a breathing tube and I said that was fine.  Then they took me back and gave me my first dose of versaid (which is suppose to make you not remember anything) but I was completely lucid and that is when he realized I was telling the truth about things not working for me so he said I will definitely make sure your out, then he gave me my next dose of fentanyl and from then on I don't remember a thing. =) Then I woke up and had some juice and crackers to make sure I could tolerate it, the doctor came to talk to me and then I was discharged and my dad and I were home by 10.  So all in all it went great.  I loved everyone that worked with me.  All the nurses were VERY nice and caring.
I am somewhat sore still from the placement, I am taking my pain meds and just laying low.  Hopefully I wont be sore for too long.  But my doctor said I can start using it tonight so that is nice.  well just thought I would update the blog since my last one I was nervous about the procedure.  It's done and I am happy!  YAY! I am just so happy something finally went smoothly!!!
