One more today

We just got back from the hospital.  The surgery took 3 hours. Recovery 1.5.  She was sleepy when we saw her.  Moderate pain.  The doctor was able to remove about 1 foot of excoriated, ulcerated inflamed bowel.  What he left looked great.  He continues to be very optimistic about a full recovery and being able to go off all meds.  His only concern is comfort for her now.  Since she is on so much pain medication already they have to use a lot more to keep her comfortable.  

He did it laparoscopically so only 3 tiny incisions.  She will be happy about that.
