Exciting News!!!

Hello Everyone! 
        Sorry once again it has taken me awhile to update this thing. Mainly because I have been doing so well. I am still apart of the drug study and it is working! :) Praise the Lord!!! I have been able to gain approx. 14 lbs, and maintained it, and that is from oral eating, no tube feeds since I started the study which means even more. I have been able to get off the medication that increased my appetite and one of my pain medications because I have been feeling so well. :) It's awesome!!! Which brings me to the exciting news..... I have emailed my GI Doctor to see if I could have my G/J tube removed and today she responded saying YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know when exactly, she will put the order in and then I will get a call from the hospital to schedule it. This July would have been 2 years that I have not used it. I have kept it as kind of a "security blanket" in the sense that if I started to decline again I would have it there to use; but after talking with Alicia Dart (the mom in the family I live with) She helped me realize that I have been healthy for almost a year and a half right now and I need to claim it in Christ and not worry about the future. The Lord has ultimate control and I am going to trust Him. Thank you all for your continual prayers for me! I appreciate them more than you know.
        Also, an update on school.... I found out this month that I was not accepted into nursing school starting next year. :( This was a disappointment for me, but I am trying to Trust the Lord and know that His timing is best and there is a reason why I didn't get in this time and I will just re-apply next year. 
        I am still apart of the Women's Bible Study through Willamette Christian Church and I have some AMAZING new friends from there. There are so many strong women of God that I look up to. :) 
        I am still living in Wilsonville and loving it, it has worked out great and I am SO thankful for the Dart Family!!! :) Love to you all!!!!
