11 Years Ago...

Well 11 years ago this December I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. I cannot believe it has been that long. I have grown so much as a person, in my walk with Christ and who I am becoming! I am thrilled to say that I am still doing well on the drug study!! I have gained 7lbs in the last month so I am up to 117 lbs. and it's all on my own, no tube feeds, no PICC line and no steroids. Wahoo!!!! It feels so good to feel good lol. :) and I'm so proud that my weight is increasing, I'm getting closer and closer to my goal weight.

For the month of October I worked at Ryser's Farm, a pumpkin patch off Stafford road. I had so much fun! I learned lots of new things and REALLY enjoyed the small family farm feel. I also have baked some yummy pumpkin treats with fresh pumpkins from the patch! Now that that is over :( I am going to try and get a job as a CNA, :) I am first trying to get a job at Meridian Park in the Family birth center where my mom worked for so many years. It would be my dream job because it's the area of nursing I eventually want to go into, it's close to where I live, and I know so many of the nurses that it would be really comfortable! So I would appreciate any prayers you could send my way for the job. And if that doesn't work then I will start looking into other places.

Nursing school applications are due in February so I'm working on filling those out and imm praying I get in to start next fall!!

I am apart of an AMAZING women's bible study through WCC and live all the women that are apart of our group. We all are enjoying getting to know eachother better and grow in our walk with Christ! It's awesome!!!!
